THIS WEEKS B-GR8 TECHNIQUE - HOW TO LOCK IN A GOOD FEELING

How to Lock in good feelings

  • Recollect upon a moment where you had a wonderful experience.
  • Tune in as accurately, passionately and intensely to the heart felt feelings and emotions you experienced. Use resources to aid you, such as visualising a mental picture or sound that you could associate with your wonderful experience.
  • When you have become in touch with these emotions at their most potent, do a snap physical action such as clapping your hands or stomping your foot once. This action psychologicly cements in the euphoric emotion. For example, I love the word chocolate. Chocolate makes me feel good because I associate it with good movies, friends, nice coffee, DVD's and snuggling comfortable in warm comfortable blankets.
  • Test this exercise, see if it works. If it does not work the first time. Keep going till it works. Your only a failure when you give up.

Note: Please be mindful not to accidentally anchor your well being to bad experiences and emotions. It will have the reverse affect on you. Harboured, bad emotions may cause unnecessary over eating or eating disorders, depression and social dysfunction.
